Finding Clarity with Caffeine

Donuts
You called me to 3361 McCracken for what Lord? To combat my restlessness with a dirty chai in my bloodstream, hunkering down with Max Lucado’s book, Cure for the Common Life, so that I could organize these thoughts that have bound emotions in me? You even prompted me to bring plain paper, of which You knew I would need to work through the ah-ha moment I just had.

You knew I’d find common denominators and clarity amongst my past and present. You know what I was meant to do. As Lucado states in his book, “You can do something no one else can do in a fashion no one else can do it.” I don’t know how many times I’ve read this book, but this is the first time I’ve actually sat down to really ponder that thought and answer questions to find commonalities, while I resist these donuts staring at me like puppies waiting to go home with someone.

When we are still searching for our niche, there comes a point when we are nudged to seek more in-depth than we’ve done before. Because little by little we find out more about who we really are in the eyes of God, and who He has meant for us to be for the purpose of His Kingdom.
