This morning, I stand in a one butt kitchen with sunshine yellow walls, as though it will put me in a happy place while I gaze out the kitchen window at blowing snow and drifts it’s created.
I’m tempted to let my feet lead today; bundle up and get outdoors, in the 9° and feels like -5° winter wonderland that formed overnight.
My gaze shifts as the wind whistles like a tea pot and electrical wires play a game of high wire double dutch. Yep, tempted I am, to step beyond the threshold, breathe in the heat of my jacket, and face the elements of an arctic blast. And yet, tempted into reality, when I remember good hospitality is a clear and salted driveway.
