It’s a winters dream, that I stand with you in the kitchen where long shadows fall. Your light coaxes me to scatter room to room layering fiber by fiber, until my flesh becomes a weave of the prettiest patterns, warm and prepared.
Mentally I give myself an external once over, before boots finally step out beyond the blockade of home and winter, where cold nips at my face, and a chance meeting with you keeps me moving forward. Finally, I arrive as you reach out, delicately touching my nose, kissing it like a lover to his beloved. And as we walk under blue skies and through shades of grey, delighting in each others presence, your hand holds me capable to stand, where long shadows fall.
Beautiful picture and words. Keep it up!
