Wrapped in a Moment

My cup runneth over, as I sit rocking in a chair on the front deck, watching the sun rise above the earth, until the red and orange glow disappears. Its warmth absorbs into my mummy wrapped skin covered by a sushi designed fleece blanket that I received for Christmas last year. While worship songs fill my ears, I am pulled from the the world I live in, into His presence. My Lord, Your peace, joy, hope, and love fills me from the inside out, unlike the sun which warms me from the outside in.

Ah, this moment, I desire more of, so I replay the song, until I am tired of the tune. The longing to remain here, listening, feeling, breathing the freshness of the air. This one moment over and over, again and again, wrapping me up and bringing me closer to the One I love.
